Bought for my wife because she was on a diet and worried she didn't know how much (by weight) she was eating. I was looking for one that had a few features I liked, but the main issue was accuracy and ease of use (for a diet. So far this has ticked both the boxes, plus the ability to use a bowl, zero the scale and my recommendation is not based on using it to measure baked goods (e.g. cakes, where many recipes call for a weight measurement rather than a volume measurement) as the bowl supplied is too small and the larger mixing bowl may exceed the weight limit.
