Review on 🔧 Superior Performance: Gates TCK304 PowerGrip Premium Timing Belt Component Kit by Brandon Gaines

All parts needed for the service came in a box, properly packed. Unfortunately the sloths are not made in Japan as stated on the outer box, they are all marked as China meaning they were made in Japan at most, but I find that unlikely. The tensioner is unmarked down to the bearing and the tensioner frame is significantly less robust than the OEM tensioner. In addition, some of the parts showed signs of wear that appeared as if they had already been installed and used on another vehicle, indicating that these were refurbished parts and not new parts. Again, if I knew the product before I bought it and at a lower price, I would be fine with that. There were chips and burrs on some of the tensioners that I had to remove before installing to avoid prematurely breaking the new timing belt. I would suggest finding another kit for the price as these parts were not as advertised. I would return this kit if I didn't need to replace the timing belt and accessories on my car asap. Overall the product works but not as advertised or expected.
