Excellent quality, easy to use and today excellent in tensile and shear strength. Have used other brands and these are equal or better. The price breaks is also good. The coating is in good harmony with treated wood and today does not rust on self-tapping screws. It's easy to work with and while no pilot hole is required, we drill through the top of the tree to minimize splitting of the wood once dry. The domed top provides maximum contact with a small area where other objects such as hands or clothing can get caught (also used on deck rails). The product is tested and we use different sizes that we source from the same supplier. The image is a different size but the same quality as 3".
