Wrong wire connection

This is the correct size for my 2015 Chevrolet Equinox. However, the connection of the wires that heat the mirror is on the wrong side of the mirror. The wires only extend 2 inches from the mounting assembly, which is just enough to connect to a factory-installed mirror. The connectors for this replacement are on the completely opposite side, so I would have had to splice an additional 4" of wire to get there. The mirror is still remote adjustable as it attaches to the base quite easily and the price was great. I just needed a mirror so I could pass the spring inspection. I'll buy a better replacement before the cold hits.
