Great blocks, terrible wheels
The wooden blocks were well carved and well sanded. My boys found them easier to paint than the cars I've cut myself in the past. Should have been made for fast and light pinewood derby cars. Good price for a pair of pre-made wedges. But 12 hours before the race I opened the wheels (see photo). It looked like a bad joke. The edges are very rough. Many holes are too small and do not rotate around the axes. Also, unlike many other wheels, the area around the axle is recessed and harder to hammer.
