This is the second Knoweasy wire stripper I've bought and I'll tell you why. I figured I would have to do about 100 cuts/strips, but last week about 3/4 of the way the plastic inner hinge broke. You can see that the hole for the handle's pivot/full point was far from center. So the thin edge broke when stripping 14 AWG stranded copper wire (van wiring). I probably have to do 15 or 20 more strips so I decided to buy another cheapest wire stripper. That works fine. It s cheap. I could buy Klein for $30 and be ahead of the game, but I went the cheap route. Now these two are bigger than Klein ALL METAL. One last moment. There are no instructions as to what the adjustable pivot screw on the rear end does. The packaging materials consisted of a clear plastic cover and a cardboard backing. I'll try downloading a code scanning app and see if the code provides more information. In the meantime, this is an inexpensive tool that works very well. until it breaks.
