The device exceeded all my expectations. A lighted perimeter is something valuable. The calibration is slightly above the specified voltage ranges. That is a good thing. The AC output voltage with no load is 115.1 V at 59.9 Hz. The supplied cable is suitable for an expected input current of 40 amps. Limited power output due to the cigarette lighter plug is to be expected. The clamps right at the source are strong, not weak. As a precaution, the literature suggests not to reverse the polarity. This indicates that it is not protected by a diode and possibly a fuse. If so, how do you change the fuse? We have technology to protect the device in this state. There are no obvious cover screws or releases. I haven't tried this. The warning was ominous. This is a well thought out and high quality product. I take my hat off to the manufacturer.
