I ordered them more or less just to test as I found them by accident while looking for strong attachment points. They are just as strong as fixed attachment points, but unlike fixed points, they can be removed. when on the go. This added flexibility is great as I now have internal and external attachment points on my trailer without permanently sacrificing floor space. An added bonus for the 1/2" size I got is that the removable eyebolts have the same threads as my bumper bolts on my 2005 Jeep TJ that I tow behind my RV. And I only needed a second attachment point for the safety chain. Now I have this attachment point that I can remove if not needed.
