The concept of "almost " flush mounting points is a good idea.

This system looks great and is always there when you need it without compromising on looks. It has threaded plastic caps built into the packaging straps, so don't throw them away! A good product.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Useless Features

Rugged Screed and Anchor

I've had them installed in my truck (center body, lower channel) and in a cargo trailer for at least 15 years. I like that you can have an anchor point that you can remove for other uses. This is necessary for secure attachment points.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Upgradeable

That's great. I Bought a Folding Port Cargo Trailer

This is amazing. I bought a port side folding trailer, laid down 5/8 plywood floorboards and installed them in the corners. What a cool design. I can use them as extremely strong anchor points and easily remove them to fold the trailer against a wall. I've included an exploded view of the 1/2" anchor bolts for clarity. Highly recommend!

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Upgrades

Awesome and manly stud!

Sturdy and much larger than the pictures. Perfect for my caravan. They've been on the road since I bought them three months ago. Now it's October and the wear on the ring is related to the bolt; the ring rusts and rusts a lot. While this is a good product I have to deduct two trades for corrosion and poor finish. I really had high hopes.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for the elderly

Heavy duty, best price

I love these anchors. For certain applications you need to add another washer. The instructions say the washer at the top is not needed. I have a feeling this is only true if the stress has only been applied straight up. I've used them a few times and always use a shim on top and then make a larger shim for the bottom. I'm sure this way will work too, but mine adds a little twist. Overall they are extremely strong and have never had a problem. I will continue to buy here, the best price!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • boring packaging

Very strong, well built, anchor tip needs more shoulder

Love these ties and can remove them. I had a Silver Fox ATV trailer with a metal floor. I took 4" long 2.5" x 2.5" corner pieces and welded them under deck and to the frame. Corners and floors drilled and fitted. They go nowhere! Don't drill the 3/4" first -Hole, if you have a thin deck the anchor can go through. Instead, drill a 11/16" hole, take a small file and slowly drill the hole until you can insert the dowel.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Some little things

Good way to drill some threaded holes in the body of a car etc. I used this to install a non-OEM rumble seat in my van using standard bolts instead of eyebolts. I can now remove the folding seat with relative ease if I need full cargo space etc. A step drill works well for mounting in sheet metal, but the difference between a hole that's big enough and one that's too big is a step, so be it Careful. The only downside is that it's a little pricey for everyone and it would have been nice to be…

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Not bad

Found by accident - sorry, I didn't know that earlier!

I ordered them more or less just to test as I found them by accident while looking for strong attachment points. They are just as strong as fixed attachment points, but unlike fixed points, they can be removed. when on the go. This added flexibility is great as I now have internal and external attachment points on my trailer without permanently sacrificing floor space. An added bonus for the 1/2" size I got is that the removable eyebolts have the same threads as my bumper bolts on my 2005 Jeep…

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some bugs

Solid product for external accessories

I installed them on the back of my Toyota Tundra so I can carry two bikes on the back without crossing the straps. Installation on the front (middle) bed was easy. Apparently I had to drill out the bed. The rear center bolt had to be trimmed to get out of the way of the spare tire, but that didn't seem to loosen the mount in any way. As I used it, I realized that maybe I had overdone it. This product is very heavy. A 5/8" bolt is overkill for some bikes. I'd like to use a 1/2" bolt just because

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some flaws
