Good way to drill some threaded holes in the body of a car etc. I used this to install a non-OEM rumble seat in my van using standard bolts instead of eyebolts. I can now remove the folding seat with relative ease if I need full cargo space etc. A step drill works well for mounting in sheet metal, but the difference between a hole that's big enough and one that's too big is a step, so be it Careful. The only downside is that it's a little pricey for everyone and it would have been nice to be able to order without the eyebolts (for less money) which I didn't use. But this is an optional extra.
