Review on Accell USB-C to HDMI Adapter - USB 3.1 Type-C to HDMI 2.0 Active Adapter - 4K UHD @60Hz - Thunderbolt 3 compatible with DisplayPort Alt Mode by Kurt Ahui
Not working on 2017 MacBook Pro 15
I have tried this adapter with 2 Samsung 4K TVs using a Revain Basics HDMI cable (latest standard). The computer didn't even recognize that anything was plugged in. I tried connecting it separately and as a whole and still nothing. I only knew it wasn't an empty plastic shell when I connected it to a computer with parallels and the parallels showed something was connected to the computer. BUT nothing appeared on the screen. I have tested the screens, cables and laptop with other computers and TVs and they all work fine. The only thing that doesn't work is the HDMI adapter.
