1st off. The alternator did not have the metal Tuff Stuff tag shown. Not that a metal tag will make it work or not. It was just a sign that I might have done something wrong as described or seen. 2. The chrome had all sorts of ugly holes and pot marks. Although mostly on one side. 3. One of the two mounting holes looked like it had been drilled. It was bigger than it should have been or I have ever seen. 4. Neither hole was threaded. The assumption that the drilled hole was once tapped. I'm guessing it was a random copy of Cheap in a box of Tuff items. Or did that really sell me? I'm not exactly sure, but it still looked crappy, so I didn't install it on my hot rod. Not happy at all as I waited all week to get it and then my weekend was taken off. Because of all these problems, I didn't even try to install it or connect it to the power supply. I wouldn't be surprised if it was DOA on the inside and a mess on the outside. It also took forever and a day to get a refund. Maybe 2.5-3 weeks or more to see a refund. Had to call Revain for them to release and refund my money even after tracking showed it was returned and received. Thanks for nothing!
