Review on HHIP 2000 7025 Parallel Cut Off Blade P3S by Simon Nugroho

I am new to machining and this is my first experience with a parting tool. I was warned to wait until I "wet my feet" before trying to break up. Also, I was told to "stay away from cheap tools until you break some expensive tools". Well, I got my feet wet, but I immediately jumped into a cheaper block. I am VERY SATISFIED with the solution. As with anything else, attitude is the key to breaking up. BUT. If you set it up properly and keep an eye on the feed/speed, this tool is AMAZING! It immediately felt like I knew what I was doing. No chatter and the tool was not trying to move the material up or down. I have to doubt that I use a Precision Matthews, 1440BV lathe, which I also love. Definitely worth your money!
