Advantages: - Nice material. You can probably warm up to around 40C just by wearing a t-shirt underneath. Definitely blocks the wind and waterproof. Lightweight raincoat (but when pressed it starts to soak into the fabric.) - The fit is true to reality. I usually wear a medium size (5ft 10in, 150lbs) and the medium fits perfectly (I'm actually wearing a thin sweater underneath in the photo). The straps on the cuffs look cheap but do the job. Without them, the cuffs are very wide and look bad - Elastic drawstrings at waist and hood - Perfectly sized hood Cons: - Came with a very chemical smell. I washed it before wearing and the smell went away after a few days.- Hood drawstring not the best design. secured at both ends with segments that protrude into an adjustable spring clip on either side. One of the anchors literally broke the first time I pulled it (it was straight out of the box). I cut the anchor from the other side and removed everything the cord, and then "reworked" so that both ends are free with the ends knotted as shown in the picture. This left an unused opening on each side, which isn't a problem - I didn't like the rather prominent logos on the sleeves and button placket hem. After some careful investigation I was able to obtain some fine scissors and tweezers. One of the images shows a trace of a round logo on the sleeve after removal. This is only noticeable on closer inspection. General Comments: - I paid $40 for this jacket. - I've had this jacket for about 3 weeks and wear it every other day for stress free outdoor activities. - This would be a 5 star jacket if it weren't for a few design and quality control issues.
