I ordered this jacket as a lighter waterproof jacket for skiing. The temperature was between 40 and 40, so a thick jacket was not needed. The jacket was perfect for my needs. I'm a bad skier so I fell down a lot and the jacket kept me warm all day. I used this jacket as a shell over a light Costco 32C down jacket a few weeks ago in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada at -22F (-30C). This jacket perfectly protected me from wind and cold. Advantages: - Nice material. You can probably warm up to around 40C just by wearing a t-shirt underneath. Definitely blocks the wind and waterproof. Lightweight raincoat (but when pressed it starts to soak into the fabric.) - The fit is true to reality.
