Bought for non-standard use: as stretch marks for a tipping tree. My plan was to pull them up slowly and not disturb the root structure too much. I chose them because of the soft material (so as not to disturb the tree trunk), high resilience and UV resistance. I have no experience with ratchet straps so I gave this 4 stars as my issues with it may be due to user error. Pros: The straps themselves are very soft and durable. I had to cut one off. I also overtightened one of them to the point where the ratchet broke (it still holds in its current position but I can't overtighten if the tree adjusts or reuse for other purposes). However, the tree is now stable and upright and I am happy with my purchase.
