I love these one-piece spatulas for frying eggs, cleaning out bowls, and the like. They remain flexible and are very easy to care for. They are not too flexible, which can prevent scraping cold food like a pure silicone spatula. However, as mentioned, the overall quality seems to vary. Of my 4 packs (various colors) 2 seem to lack internal support in the blade. When flexing, it's easy to see that 2 have good support near the ends of the blade, while the other 2 flex much closer to the shank of the handle. I suspect this will eventually lead to rejection, as some of the other reviewers' photos show. Regardless, I believe all 4 will hold up well as long as we're not using them to grate cold butter or mix heavy batters. In the real world, I think most reviews mention separate materials and the like. come from people who don't use those spatulas the way professional chefs and bakers do. These are not ice cream scoops, pastry knives, knives, electric mixers, or refrigerated cookie dough scoops. Just use them as a spatula rather than an all-purpose kitchen tool and they will likely last you a long time. Time.
