Works great with 4G LTE rural internet

I have AT&T rural internet over 4G LTE. Using the device's internal antennas occasionally resulted in good download speeds (up to 14 Mbps after midnight), but slower than phone line download speeds. My best signal in the house was around -119 (the lower the better) and more commonly -121. My LTE tower is about 4 miles away and there are a lot of trees in between and there - I don't have line of sight due to the trees and terrain - what's worse, I'm on the bottom of a hill. I found out that the device has two antenna connectors and built a box with some RP-SMA adapter cables connected to the connectors. At first I used paid 9dBi antennas from a WiFi router and they didn't help much. After reading many reviews, I learned that the best setup for LTE is a dual setup - horizontal and vertical antennas. I already had some N-type cables running to my house from a previous wireless network and a mast about 15 feet tall. I found this antenna and some good reviews about it (internet). The price was good and I received them within a week. I also found a patch cord for my N to RP SMA cables on the box: Altelix RP-SMA RPSMA Male to N Female 195 Low Loss Wi-Fi Antenna Cable 10ft All came in a box at once. After installing the antennas, I had a signal of -106 during the day. My download speed was around 10 Mbps and my upload speed was around 5. Really a difference between day and night. I recommend it to anyone who needs to improve their LTE signal as it offers excellent value for money.
