I liked that the handle wasn't fiddled with, the size was large, the heat distribution seemed pretty even at the moment. However, even on the smallest burner (propane stove) with an 8 quart pot, I had to constantly readjust the flame and never managed to get a soft boil that stayed there. As a result, the meat was improperly cooked, becoming tough and not tender. I'm hesitant to use it again for more delicate things as a stew after this experience. We have moved and I miss my glass electric stove, which was so reliable with its heat settings, especially with the very fine stoves.
