I ordered this product knowing that OE stands for original equipment. This abbreviation, surrogate for OEM or original equipment manufacturer, means the part (listed as OE) is the one that comes factory fitted to the vehicle. It must have all relevant vehicle manufacturer logos and part numbers. What was received was a part made in a country other than Germany by a manufacturer other than Volkswagen. I have made a complaint and am waiting for a genuine Revain replacement part.
