Review on 🔧 Wiha 79242 Torx Bit Selector Set - 11 Piece Set (T5-T30) by Doug Layman

If you are thinking of buying this torx set to take apart your pocket knife for maintenance then you have made the right choice. Some of the cheaper Torx kits don't live up to spec, especially on the smaller T5 and T6 bits. A cheap T6 bit that I threw away actually turned freely in the T6 screw it was supposed to fit into. When I first used this Wiha set I thought they forgot to send me the racket grip. Then I realized that the box itself not only stores the bits and extension cord, but also doubles as a pen. The only downside to using the box as a racket handle is that the box is so big that you can easily apply TOO STRONG torque to the screw. When using the box as a racket handle, do not overtighten the screws to be installed. UPDATE: I found something annoying but easy to fix. The magnetic bit holder on the extension is TOO strong. A small bit is very difficult to remove from an extension. I fixed this by sliding a very small piece of paper over the top of the magnet. The bits are now held about 1/32 inch from the magnet and can be easily removed.
