Review on KitchenAid KO321OHERA Gourmet Etched Grater by Michelle King

I really liked this Kitchenaid collection. I have a spatula and it's probably the best I've found. Like the spatula, it's well built, exceptionally heavy and well balanced, and the red handle and chrome details look particularly nice. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this grater as it is so blunt that it does not grate anything. Maybe I just got a "bad" item? I don't know, but it won't work. At first I thought I must be moving in the wrong direction of the blade, so I gently ran my fingers over it and then examined it closely and that wasn't the problem. It's just not sharp enough to grate. I've tried grating the zest of oranges, lemons, hard Asiago cheese, nothing. I was able to work a little with carrots, but not as efficiently as with my old grater. Unfortunately not a recommended article.
