Review on WiFi Repeater for Hiseeu Security 📶 Camera System Wireless - Hiseeu WiFi Range Extender by Lisa Hall

I bought this extension to use with my Wi-Fi security camera system because I had some cameras on the outskirts of the NVR's range. It was easy to set up, so that was a plus. However, I have some pretty serious issues that made me rate this 1 star and the support team hasn't been very helpful. I've noticed that every few days (sometimes every day) the expander randomly stops communicating with the NVR. (and the green NVR will start flashing green) and therefore the cameras connected to it cannot communicate with the NVR. I have to unplug and plug the power strip back in to restart it and then it plugs back into the dash cam. I have this extension in the office so I can intercept it but if I couldn't see it or if it was on a shelf somewhere I would never notice it. This is an unacceptable point of failure for a security camera, and I can only imagine if I had to move out of town and this thing would stop communicating. I emailed customer support and got a general response that doesn't address my specific issue and they are only available on their phones from 6pm to midnight PST which doesn't really work for us east coasts. When I emailed again, they told me it was a problem with the power supply and that I should try a different one (like I just had a bunch of 12v adapters lying around). Luckily I had one and it didn't solve it. I sincerely want this to work as expected.
