Review on Fostex T50RP MK3 Semi-Open 🎧 Studio Headphones, Designed for Professional Use by Somsak Saladang ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didn't expect the quality to be so high.

Although there is no such thing as a perfect pair of headphones, you should give these a try and form your own opinion after listening to them. Personally, I think the sound is great, but I think everyone else should make their own decision about the other aspects. I will make a note of the following illustrative points: 1) I'll say it again because everyone else has already said it: you need an amplifier. Only my MacBook Pro was able to produce a sound that was satisfactory in the absence of an amplifier; I tested it on both air and phones, but neither one was successful. 2) Many people are concerned about the comfort of the clothing; however, I have no such concerns. Very likely, it is determined by the shape of the head. 3) Once the instrument has had a chance to warm up, a very positive shift occurs in the sound. 4) Since these headphones have a semi-open design, I was concerned that the sound would leak out and disrupt the listening experience of others. When the headphones are completely in place and the volume is set to medium, however, almost nothing can be heard by those around you. But, you can experience some difficulty if you wish to listen to your preferred music at a very loud volume late at night. This is not so much a comment to provide some fresh information as it is to add reviews to this earphone and bring attention to it. It seems to me that an extremely small number of people are aware of Fostex, but to no avail. They offer a lot of entertainment value for the price. The majority of the information pertaining to them may be found in international forums on the internet, which is another source of knowledge. - After putting in some time with the product, I made the decision to write a review. The ear cushions from Shure were an excellent fit, the soundstage got even more expansive, and the bass was not compromised. Isodynamics does not bog down even when dealing with complicated scenarios; all frequencies are properly accounted for. Not only are the tops detailed, but they also have a very natural appearance. If the noise reduction on the recording does not cut them off, then there is a gentle loop, which is typically not heard on other headphones. The sound is quite authentic while maintaining a certain degree of remove from the listener. On the other hand, this can be a drawback for certain people. There are occasions when you are able to pick up on flaws in the recording that are otherwise imperceptible to other people. It is dependent on the music that one listens to since an honest sound is not necessarily the most juicy and vibrant sound. But, that is the tone that I had been searching for all along. Nonetheless, the traditional dynamic emitter has several flaws that are difficult to correct initially. After hearing this, I can't help but want to listen to electrostats.

Pros
  • Sound Detachable wire Removable ear pads The level of construction excellence exceeds my expectations. Relax and take a seat. Nice retro style, I like it
Cons
  • During prolonged exposure to sound, the ears begin to perspire. I placed an order for velor ear pads from Shure, so we'll see how that affects both the sound and the comfort.
