Sorry Disappointed Best in Kitchen Utensils & Gadgets
I have purchased other ThermoPro thermometers and they work fantastic. However, I am very disappointed with this product. I like everything about it, but the TP829 shuts down after 2 hours of use. When I turn it back on, it turns off again after 2 hours. I contacted support and they sent a new one without question. Guess the new one shuts off after 2 hours. The manual says it turns itself off after 2 hours, but that's if the temperature doesn't change in that time. I smoked 3 pork hams with the TP829. All 3 times I've had the same problem including the new one I just got. I'm giving 2 stars because ThermoPro's customer service is top notch. Spend an extra $20-30 to avoid this hassle.
