Not thrilled at $200

I feel like this $200 DVR lacks features for such a high price. However, I'm keeping it because of these PROS: The video quality is top notch (and even has 5 different video quality settings) so I have confidence in encoding old VHS media, old 8mm camcorders, etc. that I want to keep. in maximum quality. Another plus is that I like to schedule a recording with a timer and just mark the day of the week. This works for my use case (I like a show that airs at the same time on Thursdays and Fridays). If you want to record shows that happen at different start times, note that this probably won't work for your use case (you'll get a start time, but you can tick multiple days). So I think those two qualities justify keeping it. As for my CONS: I wanted to permanently connect the HDMI output to my TV (I have another AV input that I can switch to) so I can access the big screen menu controls with the remote, but the HDMI -Output doesn't seem to stick, needs some fiddling (disconnect, reconnect, press a few buttons etc.) 2. CON, how on earth is there no way to delete a video? Let's say I recorded something to test and didn't want to save it and/or I was watching a TV show and now I want to delete it. In playback mode, a "Menu" button SHOULD be implemented, bringing up a context sensitive menu with the "DELETE" option. It's such a basic feature and I've tried all types of DVRs: RipRoar Video Free (favorite), SanDisk Vmate (second favourite), Teon Pav, Mustek PVR-H140 and PVR-A1, Archos, EZCap, iRecord, iConvert etc etc - Most of the ones I mentioned let you remove the video you don't want. I really don't want to pull out the SD card every time only to erase the file on Windows with a USB card reader and also plug in the ClearClick via USB each time. I'm not even asking for a fancy explorer with folder search, copy/paste etc, I just want to DELETE the file. If ClearClick is listening, please include that in your feature request for the next firmware update.
