My "real tools" from before Amazon, Port Freight, etc. ruined US manufacturing was "borrowed" a long time ago , so that I know better "fell into it" and ordered this one. The attached picture shows what happens when you try to cut the ribbon with this tool (the "cutting tool" just rolls the ribbon underneath like the worst scissors you will ever use). It doesn't matter which direction you turn the cutter, although it was obviously designed (sorry, "copied") to only cut in one direction, it still won't cut no matter how hard you try. This leaves you with a folded tape that you can't cut or pull out of the tool, meaning you have to go to the store to buy a new one. I hope to be able to resist such gullibility in the future.
