Review on Spectra Industrial Fuel Tank F26E: Next-Level Performance and Durability by Carl Lee

I bought this for my 1993 Ford F250 7.3 idi. The exchange was told it didn't fit my truck, the only reason I found it different was because the cutouts that the fuel gauge fits were different. I fixed it by adding new snippets. The included conversion kit is so-so. I couldn't find a way to easily extend the return hose. The kit includes screws and spacers, but the spacers were also 1/2 inch shorter and I ended up adding washers to lengthen the spacers. I made a new fuel dipstick with a hanger, it had to be bent a bit to get the level sensor to go from full to empty. and the filler for proper ventilation. I removed the insert in the filler so it could accept a "big drill" nozzle and quickly fill front and rear tanks. Overall I like the additional capacity from 18 gallons to 38 gallons. The conversion kit could have been better, it was a lot of work but well worth it, if you need extra capacity it's still cheaper than buying portable gas cylinders.
