I hesitated for a long time about ordering a white carbon speaker stand, but I'm glad I did. It seems to me that picking up a socket cover is better than a device. Just my opinion. As for the mount itself, it was a little difficult to wrap the cable around and I'm a little concerned that the cable is bent too aggressively. Also, the extra bulk and shape makes it wobble slightly in the actual frame. Seems good so far and for the kitchen table this product makes the speaker waaaaah better. I really didn't like the speaker sitting on my counter. A decent rack is definitely preferable, and it also directs the sound out rather than up into the upper cases. Win.
