This has helped me a lot. I needed something very long and it met all my needs. I was concerned it might not work because of the length, but as long as you don't try to take on too much your wood should be able to handle it. The length was a bit of a concern at first, but once I got the hang of it, gliding over the wood wasn't an issue. The only thing that bothered me was that its thickness might be too small. I wish it was a little bigger so it doesn't flex with applied force. I tried not to put so much effort into every shot, but sometimes you just want to get it over with and you end up getting burned. <ouch>Anyway, a good product.
