GOOD CHOICE FOR COMMUTES & SHORT TRIPS

THIS SCOOTER IS BEST IN ITS CLASS ! The closest competitor ( Apollo ) is $200 more. It has front suspension but is also SLOWER. So for that reason I chose GOTRAX instead.I purchased in order to commute to work while my license gets reinstated. Depending on the route I take, my trip is between 10-12 miles one way with approx. 700 ft of various inclines. I weigh 150 and am 5’9”.I can make it to work going top speed with heavy winds and have up to 25% battery left( although it’s advertised w/ 25 mile range )I have close to 300 miles on my G4 now. In the colder months it was a chore to ride, but as the weather warms, my commute has become more enjoyable. I replaced the rear tire w/ a solid one after my first flat. The inner tube is so cheap. I didn’t have a puncture, but instead the tube just stopped holding air after the first 150 miles or so. Will do the same for the front soon. The folding mechanism is one the best / sturdiest / easiest to use, and the added security features are definitely a plus !I only wish it went faster but obviously you have to pay for that. The next speed group starts around $950 which is close to used beater prices.so I’m good with the GoTrax !Hope this helps someone,A Satisfied Customer

I really like this scooter. It’s my first one. I don’t think the range is as advertised. I am over the weight limit and do the top speed. I think that cuts the range to 10-12 miles max. But it suits my commute fine. Seems sturdy so far. I’ve done 200 miles on it.
