Looks good but you need to buy a welding helmet before you can use it.

So far it seems an excellent product for the money. It's really amazing what you get for your money here. The setup is pretty simple and straightforward. Although as a beginner you have a problem with the protective screen they provide you with. it's too dark in here and you literally can't see what you're doing. Welding in the dark is almost impossible. In addition, to save money, you don't get a hard hat, but a flat plate that you have to hold in front of your eyes with one hand. Welding with one hand, especially for a beginner, especially in such an odd position, will be nearly impossible unless you have the stamina of a neurosurgeon and the sixth sense to do it in the dark. So what you need to do is invest in a decent auto-dimming helmet. $30 or more. That should change the world. When you're not welding you can see what you're doing to get into position and then when you start welding it dims instantly to protect your eyes. And when you stop welding, it stays dark for a split second so the welding area that's still emitting radiation doesn't hurt your eyes. Just got the car back. New wire spool could not be loaded. The instructions say nothing about how to insert the second spool. I couldn't get the old cable out of the gun or out of the car. I read somewhere about greasing the cable and pulling the gun in a straight line so the cable pull isn't about turns? Also, several reviews noted that the machine gets very hot. It seems so. At 1/8 mild steel, it burned through the steel before I could get a big puddle anywhere. The current adjustment is negligible, as with more expensive machines with infinitely variable dials. Somehow the lowest current on this machine seems to be too high. However, I see this car everywhere under many brands and in many colors. So maybe some can.
