When I saw them in the "sale windows" next to the checkout at Walmart I automatically assumed that it was such a gimmick. "As seen on TV" is normally off. I decided to buy them for RV to try. The food that we heat up on a camping trip is usually very quick and easy to prepare, any pan will do. I decided to try them on at home after unpacking and washing. Wow! So easy to clean up afterwards! This set is now in my kitchen cupboard and the old backup set is now in the camper. The grip isn't the most ergonomic and that's probably my biggest complaint. It's just awkward to lift.
