Put them on a 2003 Miata. At least initially they appear to be high quality pieces of metal and also have sturdy (hopefully not fake) 12.9 screws. For a benchmark metric, Class 10.9 is rated the same as Class SAE 8. I can't help but wonder why others charge so much more for something like this. Unless they're really cheap and brittle, I understand that expensive brands do things like mix magnesium with aluminum to prevent cracking in high-load situations, and use heat-treated special alloy bolts that are made for track or track use were developed in the field. Seriously, get real wheels before resorting to stock wheel alignment in these situations. As a disclaimer, I have custom track wheels and unfortunately got used to how they look before I put the stock wheels back on. Needless to say, the "puckered" look wasn't for me, especially made worse by the feather fall. It seems to work. Please make sure you take every precaution when installing, it's not a difficult task but you don't want the wheel to fall off either. Use threadlock if you don't want to remove the wheels to ensure they are held in place. Let it cure for the full 24 hours. Triple check your work, it's not difficult. So far so good, at least for city traffic.
