Grand Design Queen bed upgrade

Changed out the oem 4" full size queen to a 12" residential queen in the new trailer. The oem 65# struts were useless, so installed 120# struts, and it was still heavy. Finally got the 20 inch 150# struts, and the bed lifts and stays up on its own, and lowers and stays in place. The latest struts have smaller all metal heads, which still fit the existing balls.
