Review on WARN 92100 ProVantage Plow Assembly by Sean Huff

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Mounting screws are cheap junk.

Haven't tried the plow yet because the screws that come with it are cheap crap. I finally gave up putting it together for the time being because the threads on the bolts came loose even though the nut was only half tightened. I didn't even have time to tighten them when they started spinning freely. To make matters worse I have to sand them down because they won't go back. I fix construction equipment for work, so it's not like over-tightening or over-tightening a bolt. I had six of these screws doing the same thing in the same place on the screw. Maybe Warn got a bad batch of equipment that wasn't properly heat treated, but it was junk anyway. It really makes me doubt all the Warn products I've bought. Let's see how they hold up. If I start having trouble with it, I just swap out all the gear. I am concerned about the tightness of the bolts on the front plow/winch mount as I have used Warn products on all of my ATVs.

Pros
  • It's fun
Cons
  • Some bugs
