I have had this time in my cart for months but was waiting to see more reviews and for it to go on sale. When it went on sale for Cyber Monday along with a lightening coupon I jumped and got myself a Christmas present. Item arrived two days ago, well packaged and in perfect condition. I used it today to slow cook a chuck roast and it was amazing. I was able to sear the roast, deglaze the pan and then set it all to cook at a precise temperature rather than just fingers crossed on Low, med, or high, for 10 hours. Due to my schedule I had to wait until the last half hour to add the potatoes but I was able to quickly up the temp to cook them nicely in time for dinner. Everything turned out beautifully. I did not think to measure the cooking temperature for precision but it’s on my list for next time. So far I am in love with the stylish look, but even more with the functionality of the unit. I will use this for so many things. I will update if that changes but for now I would definitely say go for it!
