Review on KoolStop Black Tire Bead Jack by Kaveen Restoration

I have to say that whoever invented this tool is a genius. My wife has Campy Neutron wheels and I have a Campy Shamal 2-Way Fit. I can fit Conti 4000GP tires on my rims, but with a lot of hassle and possibly a pinched tube. I found my wife's bikes impossible; she has to go to the bike shop and we had problems even with that. My wife found this tool and thought I'd give it a try as she recently had a puncture due to the mechanic who changed her tire ruining the rim tape and it exploded. I received this tool today and the first thing that struck me is that it seems well made. I never read instructions, just followed the video I saw. I have found that you start at one end of the unassembled section and work your way to the middle (don't just start from the middle). Keep an eye on the tube so it doesn't get caught between the bead and the rim; just slide it back into the tire. The tire popped (I mean "popped") with some effort, but not much effort. I really believe that this tool will not break. It took me less than 5 minutes to put the splint on... for the past few days it would have taken me an hour and failed miserably and blistered my thumbs! Im impressed enough to write this review a few minutes after mounting my wife's tire. . As I said, this is an ingenious invention!
