Installation: Jack up the rear at the hitch, leave the axle on the ground. I pulled out the fenders and tried to install the timbres but to no avail. Used some cool tricks with another brand. No luck with that. Lined them up, used two short pieces of 2x4, lowered the truck, raised it again to get a 2x4 - done. Do this once for each page and after 30 minutes the installation will be complete. Ride Test: Drove around the block to set up the suspension and looked. In my case the distance between the axle and the timbres is about 0.75" and not exactly - perfect. They will appear gradually, not instantly. I ride like an old man so I'm still comfortable on the Ram. 1500's are well known but timbres come when they need to. But do they work? I hitched my problem child, a snowmobile trailer. Where the Ram used to sag five inches, it now sags two. My trailer and truck were up the same plane. Just for a grin and a giggle, I used my hitch to spread the load and it lifted the back of the truck an inch. Almost too much. Trucks have to "kneel" a bit when loading. That's why the front shows down. Highly recommend these.
