I was delighted with this utensil. They arrived yesterday and threw away a bunch of my old dishes. Looking at them, I started to wonder if they can be washed in the dishwasher due to the combination of plastic and wood. I quickly opened the listing and read the description to find that they are not dishwasher safe, just hand wash in soapy water. I put them all in the sink with some soapy water and just lightly rubbed the plastic parts with a soft baby bottle brush to clean them. I put them on my kitchen towel to dry and came back and the wood paneling had worn 3 out of 7. Very disappointed.
