A month and about 7 starts in still water and they're still going. First let me get one thing straight: examine the wiring and connectors before installing them, especially on a boat trailer. By that I mean if you use the included splices, they are READY to fail. These splices bite wires and can cause shorts, but more importantly, they are exposed to the elements. Saltwater messes everything up when you first start it. Even greasy over time. Do yourself a favor and order the heat shrink tubing shown in photo #2 and an extra spool of black or white wire to run the ground wire. The lights and cords are sealed inside, but that doesn't help when the spices and floor mount are exposed just behind. (Second) Connect your extra black or white wire to the headlight ground wire and simply route it along the trailer wires to the hitch connector and connect them together. Trailer grounding is a big problem. Corrosion and open connections destroy a strong connection. Much luck!
