Review on ๐Ÿ”ง AMERICAN MUTT TOOLS: Ultimate Flexibility with the Flexible Screwdriver and Extension by Brad Dotson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Decent - flexible shaft can help in some situations

I only got this because of the flexible shaft and the screwdriver's ability to work if you're forced to be in the wrong position. The screwdriver has arrived. A nice box with three parts: a flexible shaft, a handle and a set of bits as shown in one of the photos of the product description, which are kept at the end of the handle's rubber seal. In total there are a dozen nozzles of different sizes - 4 pieces Torx, slotted and Phillips. The slightly over 7 inch long shaft is magnetic on both ends. I was expecting the end that goes into the handle to have some sort of solid locking mechanism to hold it in place, but it, as well as the end that holds the bits, uses magnets to keep everything in place to keep. The magnets are quite strong so neither the shank nor the bits will fall out in any position. There is a 3-position rotary knob on the handle, allowing the shaft to rotate left, right, or lock. A nice feature as ratchet screwdrivers make installing and removing screws much easier and take less time. I wanted to see how much the shank would flex, and if it is flexed in the middle you can rotate the screws more than 90 degrees, although in reality in most cases only a little flex is required to remove obstructions . All in all, this is a pretty decent screwdriver that can help you out in situations where there's an obstacle making it difficult to turn a screw straight. to" screwdriver as I prefer the solid type when possible but can be useful in certain circumstances and for the price I think it's a good deal.
