Review on FRAM PH9688 Oil Filter Spin Lube by Devin Jenkins

I changed the oil in my new Soul for the first time and was ready to use Fram the way I have my all my life and my father for him. I was frustrated that the factory filter was very complex and when I lubricated the Fram filter I didn't realize there was no rubber seal (my own fault I rushed a simple task and lost focus in frustration). I put the filter and oil back in place and the result was almost 5 liters of synthetic oil left on the unsealed garage floor. I now have a huge spot that I'm going to clean today. So disappointed that I have never seen or heard of a filter that is not sealed on a gasket. A very valuable lesson and I will not repeat it with Fram.
