Review on ๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ HATCHBOX Matte PLA 3D Printing Filament for Additive Manufacturing by Justin Vasquez

Constant clogs on 3D printing consumables

I've been using Hatchbox alongside other PLA filaments for years and never had this problem. The first thing I noticed was that the recommended extruder temperature was about 30 degrees higher than the previous hatchbox coils I've used, which indicated something had changed in the formula. No problem, so I tried a few test prints in five degree increments from 205c to 230c to find a sweet spot. I've never found a single sweet spot. Significant underextrusion was observed at each temperature, followed by die clogging for several seconds each time. Thought it was just a bad nozzle, replaced it twice and it was still clogged within seconds. After looking for the problem for some time and disassembling the whole hotend I decided to start another thread which has always worked consistently for me and haven't had a single problem since.
