I haven't bought any new knives for several years. And it was a welcome surprise. You are sharp. slicing up the pork chops I was eating. Like it a lot. Steak knives are longer than my old ones. Not sure if this is the standard but they are good - I like the extra space for the blades when slicing steaks. The handles are pleasant to the touch. I don't know if it's full of smell but they seem strong and the chef's knife feels solid. Definitely not a cheap feel like others I've used. Great buy for the price.
