This is an essential product for the care and cleaning of microfiber fabrics. Regular laundry detergents usually contain softeners that can ruin the effectiveness of a microfiber cloth. I use microfiber towels to clean all of my glasses, electronics cases, flat screens, windows, and car interiors and exteriors. Using a microfiber cloth that has been treated with fabric softener will result in the microfiber cloth not picking up fine particles and may cause streaks on smooth surfaces. Do not dry these fabrics with fabric softener towels or in a dryer with a fabric softener wand. After you take the bar out of the dryer, it takes quite a while for the fabric softener residue to be removed from the dryer, so do not use any fabric softener bars at all. Always wash microfiber cloths separately. If your fabrics are heavily soiled I have found that adding Oxyclean to your laundry will help remove stubborn stains. I also used the stain remover spray without affecting the effectiveness of the fabric. I use this size container of product to refill my smaller container with the same supplier who has a built in metering and shipping system. I recommend buying both sizes first. Just follow the instructions and your microfiber towels will serve you for years.
