Review on πΆ Renewed ARRIS Surfboard SBG6700AC-RB Cable Modem/Wi-Fi AC1600 Router with DOCSIS 3.0 by Damon Murray
Refurbished or refurbished products are misleading.
Bought this product marked "Updated" and found the modem to be defective, refuses to contact the cable provider. The cable TV provider hooked up another old used modem from the same manufacturer and had no problems. Now I'm prevented from sending this back. Products marked as refurbished or updated may not be accurate. Since the fault was not the modem's range or signal, but a communication error upon delivery, it would have been incredibly difficult for the seller to test the product and properly label it as good before pawning it to another buyer.
