The carpet looks about what I expected. Beautiful design with edges. There are short hard rubber tabs (?) on the back which I believe will secure them to the carpeting. I'm not sure how I feel about this for my hardwood. The springs can be 1/16 inch and have a flat top, so I don't think they will dig into the ground, just keep them from slipping. I ordered the size '3' x 5' but it's actually 35' x 58'. I've only had it for about a month but it hasn't shown any signs of wear yet so I assume that it's long lasting. If it wears off I'll update this review. Really. :-)
