I bought this grinder to replace my favorite coffee grinder that I bought 20 years ago, either from Switzerland or Germany (I lent it to someone and sadly never returned it). We searched in vain for a similar replacement for him and finally settled on this one. Haven't used it yet but it's very well made and sturdy with a quality stainless steel cutting blade and solid suction base. I will not grind meat in it, which is important to some buyers - sorry I can't help you. But I will be using it to make fresh cranberry orange dressing and a few other fruits and veggies that I think are easy to work with. It includes an app for creating compressed cookies (spritz style) so maybe that makes a difference for some people, although I have a cookie press so I probably won't be using that feature. As long as I like it!
