Review on DZ43301 Tailgate Assist Shock Struts for 2009-2018 Dodge Ram 1500 2500 3500: Improved Tailgate Functionality and Fit by Justin Boisvert

Worked for my 2017 Ram 1500, installed the damper fairly easily, if you are installing it on a ram truck and getting confused look on youtube and there is a good video i used installed. The allen wrench didn't help me, but it might be an allen wrench for other years and I had one so it wasn't a big deal. The damper comes off slowly, but not too slowly if you're waiting for eternity. I would say it's the perfect speed. The only thing I didn't think about before buying is the resistance that closes the tailgate with the damper, which is noticeable on a small nearby armrest, when closing with two hands I don't even notice a difference when closing the tailgate , overall for the price and ease of installation, this is a great purchase to upgrade your tailgate. Customer service is second to none! A damn fast response time that is amazing! Christmas, weekend, it doesn't matter, we texted back and forth and it was really nice and helpful, I can definitely recommend the seller because you know 100% that if you have any questions/problems, a solution will be found quickly! Very happy with the purchase in every way! Keep it up! :)
